Blue Cheese Bacon Jalapeno Poppers with Dot’s Pretzels
10 large jalapeño peppers or as many as you can fill:
- 10 large jalapeño peppers or as many as you can fill
- 6 ounces of bacon
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 10 ounces blue cheese crumbles
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- For topping: Dots Pretzels crushed with a rolling pin into crumbles.
Directions
Slice jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise, core out the innards, leave stem on jalepenos for looks.
Cook the bacon in a pan over medium heat until the bacon becomes nice and crispy. Drain the bacon on paper towels and let cool. Crumble the bacon to smaller size pieces.
Add the softened cream cheese, blue cheese, and garlic powder to a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined (I used my electric hand held mixer).
Fill each jalapeño slice with bacon-blue cheese mixture and set onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Top each jalapeño with crushed Dots Pretzels.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the cheese is nicely melted and pretzels are golden in color.
Serve!
